HOW TO FIND THE DAY OF THE YEAR IN WHICH YOU WERE BORN?
Calculating the day of the year in which you were born is a part of Applied Mathematics Class 11 CBSE curriculum. There are many ways to calculate the day of the year in which you were born. This method is more mathematical. For calculation purposes, start the week on Monday. To start with , you need to know that a non leap year is not divisible by 4 or not divisible by 400. We move on to the concept of odd days. A leap year has 2 odd days .We calculate the number of odd days in 100 years moving on up to 1900 or 2000. You will then calculate the number of odd days till your year of birth and then the number of odd days till your birthday in that year. A few problems are illustrated.
